Cautions & Warnings
As with any natural health product, you should consult a healthcare practitioner on the use of this product, especially if you are following a low protein diet or taking any prescription medication including antiplatelet medication, blood thinners, or if you have a medical condition including gallstones, kidney stones, excess stomach acid, stomach ulcers, iron deficiency, cystinuria, diabetes, cancer or a history of non-melanoma skin cancer. Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Because this product contains natural diuretics, consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are taking products containing diuretics or if you have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, a kidney disorder or edema (swelling of the hands, face or feet). Discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner if you experience symptoms of serious low blood sugar such as sweating, paleness, chills, headache, dizziness, and confusion, or develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness and loss of appetite. Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.

Hypersensitivity has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. People sensitive to niacin may experience flushing of the skin that is generally mild and transient. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with green tea extract-containing products have been reported (in Canada and internationally).
Contraindications
Do not use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking antibiotics/nitroglycerin. Do not use if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family, or if you have liver or gall bladder disorders, bowel obstruction and/or bile duct obstruction.
